Protect Trans Kids

Dear Chesterfield County Citizens,

Please consider attending the CCPS Board public comment session on November 12th at 6:30 pm. The Board will be discussing a proposed new Transgender model policy. This new policy is less affirming and potentially dangerous for our Transgender students.

In August of 2021, CCPS already adopted an informed and well designed policy regarding the dignity of students.  This policy has served the entire student body well for 3 years and there is no need to make any changes.

Please show up to show your support for the standing policy and offer your gratitude for offering a safe and inclusive environment for all of our students. Your voice matters.

I am attaching the proposed policy to this email.  Public comment instructions follow

Those who wish to speak in person at the board meeting should notify the School Board clerk (by 2 p.m. on the day of a board meeting) either:
